Sound of Music.

The Sound of Music.
The week i got back.. was the week of the actual musical.. so BUSY BUSY BUSY, even though i was only backstage... still it was crazy, because we were runneres.. which basicly means we have to do anything anyone tells us. i mean by the end like we got a proper work out. It was a great experience to be part of a real musical :-) and now i know every word to the play :-D we alsi got to watch it 4 times from CLOSE UP :-)
On the third night, it was so perfect, That night was the night it was being videoed to make dvd's.
Two classes ago, we actually got to watch 30 minutes of the dvd, it was actaully so much better watching the play from the front, and not stage left ! And Leah is. an. amazing. singer. :-D

Work Experience :-)

Work Experience.
was a blast. i went to the newstation WUFT at UF. it's a student station, so non of them get paid for their work. it was really the best work experience i could ask for! The day usually started around 9 o'clock with a group meeting with all the reporters, when they choose which stories to report on. The first day  i went out with 2 girls the first day and we went to go report on occupy gainesville, of the occupy movements all over the world.  It was really an amazing experience to see real reporters at work, and see how the whole system works. I also got to do interviews with some of the protesters :-) Even after shooting the actual reporting footage, we went back to the station, and we had to go through all of the footage and pick parts in interviews to use, and then make a script of everything that was said.  THEN we had to go to Mark, the head of the station and show him our news clip, he made a few changes, and by 5 o clock, its on channel 3 WUFT television.
